Attractions Around Perth

Overlooking Swan River, Elizabeth Quay is a hip area in Perth’s central business district. Elizabeth Quay hosts many restaurants and bars to satiate even the toughest critics. Visitors will also enjoy art scattered around Elizabeth Quay, including the Elizabeth Quay Pedestrian Bridge, a suspension bridge that features a unique design with arches and curves.

One of Perth’s biggest social media stars, the Crawley Edge Boatshed continues to be one of the most photographed attractions in Western Australia. This unique boathouse sits on the water at the end of a long deck. The bright blue hue of the house against a backdrop of calm waters gives it an almost otherworldly look. Things to See in Torndirrup National Park

Visit Torndirrup National Park in Albany to see some amazing granite formations. The Natural Bridge is one such formation. It was formed due to the Great Southern Ocean slowly wearing away the granite beneath creating an arch. In this park, you will also find The Gap, a granite channel formed also by the force of the Great Southern Ocean.

From May to October, parkgoers can also go whale watching. During migration season, visitors will be treated to sightings of southern right and humpback whales. Get in touch with Holiday to Oz Travel. We will make sure to plan your holiday so it’s the perfect time for whale watching.

Fun Activities to do in Lancelin

Lancelin is an ocean-side town popular among people who like water sports. Its proximity to the Indian Ocean makes it a prime location for kitesurfing and windsurfing. Reefs and shipwrecks around the area also make it a favourite among snorkelers and divers. Visitors can also charter boats to go fishing further out into the water.

Lancelin also has the biggest sand dunes in Western Australia. This makes Lancelin a great place to try sandboarding. Four-wheel drivers and motorcycle riders also love driving around Lancelin’s sand dunes. The area also attracts dune buggy racers.

Less than an hour away from Lancelin is the famous Lobster Shack. Feast on the freshest rock lobster, abalone, squid, and fish in Western Australia while enjoying a view of the ocean. On your way here, stop by The Pinnacles, incredible limestone formations in Nambung National Park. You can also catch a glimpse of kangaroos and emus while marvelling at the Pinnacles.
