What to do in Busselton Jetty
The 1.8 kilometres long Busselton Jetty is the world’s longest wooden pier, as well as the longest jetty in the southern hemisphere. To appreciate the full length of the jetty, visitors can hop on the solar-powered Jetty Train. Enjoy views of Geographe Bay from the comfort of the train. You might even catch a glimpse of some dolphins.
Guests can also go on a tour of Busselton Jetty’s Underwater Observatory. Go eight metres beneath the surface of the water and get a 360-degree view of the Indian Ocean. Visit Torndirrup National Park in Albany to see some amazing granite formations. The Natural Bridge is one such formation. It was formed due to the Great Southern Ocean slowly wearing away the granite beneath creating an arch. In this park, you will also find The Gap, a granite channel formed also by the force of the Great Southern Ocean.
